About St. Kitts and Nevis

Nevis Island

You will find that St. Kitts and Nevis is a two-island nation situated between the Atlantic Ocean and the Caribbean Sea. You will get to know it due to its cloud-covered mountains and beaches. New inns are cropping up here with time. It hosts a population of 54,488 (2022 est.)and is the world’s smallest sovereign Federation.

Saint Kitts is the larger one compared to Nevis island. It boasts various features, such as a dormant Mount Liamuiga volcano, a crater lake, green vervet monkeys, and a rainforest full of hiking trails.

Nevis, the smaller island, lies about 3km southeast of St. Kitts. The way goes through a shallow channel called ‘The Narrows.’ The island country gained independence in 1983.

Of the two islands, St. Kitts is best for off-shore activities for visitors, like visiting Brimstone Manor and golf courses. On the other hand, Nevis island hosts lovely beaches like the famous Pinneys. It also offers clear water snorkelling at Oualie.

Of course, like any other independent state, St. Kitts and Nevis established consulates within multiple selected countries, including UAE.
